Toronto Tsunamis in More magazine

The Toronto Tsunamis masters synchro club is featured in the April 2009 Canadian edition of More magazine. The article is titled "The Master Plan," and you can see a picture of our team on page 103.

2008 Regionals

Tsunamis competed at Central-North Regionals in Newmarket on February 6, 2008. Congratulations to the team on a great performance, well worth the gold; to Lorie, our coach, for her first place medal in solo; and to Marilyn on her very first competitive solo. 2007 Masters Provincials results

Toronto Tsunamis swam at Ontario Masters Provincial Championships on May 5, 2007. The Team came home with gold; Solo competitor Lorie earned a silver medal after sustaining an injury during the competition.

Tsunamis win at Nationals!

Toronto Tsunamis travelled to Winnipeg, Manitoba the weekend of June 17, 2006 to participate in Canadian Masters Nationals, hosted by Sirens Synchro at the Pan Am Pool.

2006 Tier Championships

At the Ontario Tier Championships in London, Ontario, solo Lorie McKnight and duet Trina Parry and Kathy Tam swam to fourth place finishes. The team had its best swim of the season so far, earning a silver medal. Congratulations to everyone on a great meet!

2006 Central/North Regionals Results

Central/North Regionals took place at the Rosedale Heights Pool on April 9, 2006.

CONGRATULATIONS to Lorie McKnight who won the gold medal in her event, Solo 18-34!

Tsunamis duet of Trina Parry and Kathy Tam finished first in Duet 18-34, and the Team earned a silver medal in the 35-49 category.

2006 Masters Provincials Results

Toronto Tsunamis swam at their first event of the season on April 1, 2006: the Masters Provincial Championships in Ottawa.

Congratulations to all our competitors:

Lorie McKnight, Solo 18-34, earned a third place ribbon in routine to finish fourth overall.

Trina Parry and Kathy Tam competed in Duet 18-34 and earned a fifth place ribbon in routine.

In the Team 35-49 event, Tsunamis swam their Elvis routine unopposed in their age category to earn a first place ribbon.

Trillium Recreational Competitions

Congratulations to Teri D. and Marilyn Y. who finished first and second, respectively, in the Trillium Recreational Figures Competition in Port Hope on March 4, and whose duet won the bronze medal in the Recreational Routine Competition in Orangeville on May 6!
